I’m really sorry for the inconvenience, this issue is not specific to HivePress – if you use Loco Translate for translation please always select the Custom location instead of Author when you add a new translation https://localise.biz/wordpress/plugin/manual/msginit (check the Choose a location section in their docs). If you select the Author option, translations will be stored in the plugin folder itself, and any plugin files are overridden when updated.
Please check if your hosting provider stores some backups of your site, maybe it’s possible to restore the translation files.
