  Is it possible to add/replace the Algolia Search plugin (https://de.wordpress.org/plugins/wp-search-with-algolia/ to the JobHive frontpage search?

  Yes, please try asking the plugin devs if there’s some specific CSS class or JS that should be applied to the text input in order to add the Algolia drop-down. Then this may be possible via a simple HivePress code snippet.
