+Add Listing rename how ?
- mickeymouse7 months ago
I already changed the top right section +add listing name to something else..
But when I use loco translate I cant seem to find that name.
Regardless what I want to do is rename it again and link it to searching or listings page instead of forwarding to add a listing.
How can I do this .. thanks .ihor7 months agodeveloper
This text seems to be available for translation https://hivepress.io/docs/extensions/paid-listings/ If you edited this text without changing the textdomain please try refreshing the language file. Also please make sure that you updated ListingHive and HivePress to the latest version.mickeymouse6 months, 3 weeks ago
It seems for me in the loco translate its not shown this modification I did .. maybe i did it another way but can’t remember, any suggestions where else to look ihor?
Also how can I change the symbol of + to a search icon ?ihor6 months, 3 weeks agodeveloper
If you changed some string in the code please refresh the translation template in Loco Translate. It’s a good practice to edit texts via Loco Translate instead, so you don’t have to worry about code changes. You can override any template part of HivePress by placing it inside the /hivepress folder in the child theme folder, it works in the same way as with WooCommerce, you can follow the same steps https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/template-structure/ Here’s a folder with template parts, if you copy some file to the theme it will override the default one https://github.com/hivepress/hivepress/tree/master/templatesmickeymouse6 months, 2 weeks ago
I thank you for the explanation. But how would I change the symbol form a + to a search icon .. and make it forward to our listing search page.ihor6 months, 2 weeks agodeveloper
I’m sorry, but support doesn’t include customizations, although I’m always glad to help if there’s a simple fix. This one requires overriding the template parts, and additional CSS styling.
