Allow booking calendar only for specific categories

    Hi there,
I’d like to know if it’s possible to hide the booking extension features for specific categories?
(hide calendar/booking options on listing page, edit listing page, manage listing page, etc…)

Also, is there a way to display the category ID for all pages, in the body css classes?
(all categories [would be a blank ID I suppose ?], category, listing detail, edit listing, etc…)
    Thanks a lot!
    Regards

    Hi,

    1. Sorry, there’s no such option at the moment, but I added your suggestion to the project backlog and it may be implemented (this feature is also on the roadmap for other extensions like Marketplace). If your website requires some customizations beyond the available features you can also consider hiring us for customization https://hivepress.io/customization/

    2. If you mean the category pages please check the “body” element via the web inspector, WordPress should add the unique ID-based classes automatically.

    Hi,
    1. Thanks, at this point it’s just a project so we will see if we need it now or later. We will send you a customization request for another project very soon 😉 Do you already know when this feature will be available approximalty ?
    2. Yes WP does it for category page or post ID. But I mean Hivepress listing’s category ID which is displayed on the page. For example, if we open a category page (see all listings from a category) or if we open a listing details page : it should show listing’s category ID as a css class in the body.
    For example: hp_category-id_XXX
    Thank you for your help!

    1. I’ll update the Booking extension next week and will check if this feature doesn’t break the backward compatibility, so it may be implemented. If possible describe the use case for it, do you use some specific categories for bookings while other categories are used for other listing types? Thanks.

    2. Sorry, there’s no such CSS class on the listing page, but it may be added via the template hooks (for example hivepress/v1/templates/listing_view_page), so this requires some PHP tweaks.
