I’m still getting the “Oops! Something went wrong!” error message on my website. I have the correct API key and I have the following API’s enabled:

    Places
    Maps JavaScript
    Geolocation
    Geoplaces

Do I need to activate the Google Cloud Platform free trial before all that stuff works?

You can send a link to your site and I’ll check the browser console, there should be the error details. Only 2 APIs are required, Maps JavaScript API (for displaying maps) and Places API (for autocomplete).

Thanks for all your work, Ihor!

    There’s an error:

Google Maps JavaScript API error: RefererNotAllowedMapError
    https://developers.google.com/maps/documentation/javascript/error-messages#referer-not-allowed-map-error
Your site URL to be authorized: http://www.buildsource.org/

Please make sure that your site URL is whitelisted for the API key you added, more details here https://developers.google.com/maps/documentation/javascript/error-messages#referer-not-allowed-map-error
