Hi,
This feature is on the roadmap, I’ll add an option for making packages category-specific.
mickeymouse 3 years, 1 month agoExcellent .. I was just about to ask for this snippet.
Thank you for asking Aizen and ihor for answering.Aizen 3 years, 1 month agoHi Ihor,
If there is a code snippet that can be added in the mean time – I would happily pay for this as it would really be useful.
Thanks,
A
mickeymouse 3 years, 1 month agoI believe this is important, for I recently add more packages and it’s cluttered with nonrelevant packages. It would be ideal packages show only related to that category. Hopefully, this is something that can be easily added with a snippet code. Much appreciated
Unfortunately there’s no simple code snippet for implementing this, but I’ll update the Paid Listings extension as soon as possible. Please let me know what’s a use-case for this feature, setting different prices for different categories?
mickeymouse 3 years, 1 month agoWe’ll in my case I have different categories that have different services.
I want to charge different prices based on the service.
So currently if they want to add a listing for “plumbing” for example .. they will see all the packages that are non-related.
So for me I think if we select a certain category for a certain package, only that packages related to that category should show.Aizen 3 years, 1 month agoHi Ihor,
To simplify what Mickey Mouse said;
Packages should have the option when creating the package to apply it to a specific category or categories – similar to how we can already do this when creating attributes.
Happy to send you a good donation for this life saving feature as I know your plate is full atm.
Thanks,
A
dracoare88 3 years, 1 month agois there any way for me to charge for every added listing ? thank you !
Thanks, that makes sense, I’ll update this extension as soon as possible.
@dracoare88 There’s no such option at the moment, but you can consider using packages until it’s implemented, for example if you sell a package of 5 listings for $10 you basically charge users $2 per listing.Aizen 3 years, 1 month agoHi Ihor,
Let us know if we can help in anyway to speed up the paid listing extension update you mentioned above. I.E if donating funds will enable to focus some time on the project then I’m sure the community can band together to make it happen 😉
Thanks for all your hard work.

I’ll update this extension next week, it’s the first in the queue.
Updated, I’m closing this topic – please create a new one if you find any issues.
