Automatic expiration issue
I noticed that in some point automatic expiration of ads stopped working, perhaps after WP 5.5 update.
Expiration date is set correctly according to chosen package yet at that date nothing happens, no email is sent and listing remain active. If disabled manually the paid renewal is requested (I have paid listing extension installed).
Do you have any suggestion how to fix this issue?

Please try re-activating HivePress plugin, the scheduled action may be initialized again.
Thank for your answer,
I tried plugins re-activation several times, with no result.
There is any other way to refresh the entire instalation?
This is strange, it seems to work for other installations https://hivepress.io/support/topic/problem-with-updating-ads/ Please try using this plugin to remove all scheduled actions https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-cron-cleaner/ Then HivePress will try to schedule them again.miro 1 month, 1 week ago
Strange indeed, works also for me in test installation on the same hosting server.
I tried deleting the hivepress cron jobs, with no result unfortunately.
Also disabling/enabling all plugins and reinstalling WordPress is not helping.
Something went wrong with my installation and I don’t know how to fix it.
Any help from your side will be highly appreciated,

Maybe there’s some specific caching solution, so visiting the front-end pages doesn’t check the scheduled actions instead just rendering static HTML? In WordPress the cron jobs are checked only if someone visits the page. Let me know if you find any additional details.miro 1 month ago
I found the solution for my problem by deleting all transient entries in wp_options and wp_postmeta. After deleting the transients the related cron started to work again as expected.
Also found another tool to view and control crons here:
No other problem to report for the time being 🙂
