Booking with Date and Time for Doctor appointment

  Hi ,
  I am waiting for the booking functionality of date and time , as i will use the extension in our website to enable user to book date and time for doctor and diagnostic centre appointments . Hope this can be done , if you can please confirm
  And i know date feature is out , any tentative date for date time release will help us a lot

  Yes, it should be available next week (someone paid for this custom feature and allowed to share it with the community), meanwhile you can consider pre-purchasing it and start customizing your website.

  I have bought it and got started , below are few queries

  1 ) Sorry to ask again , but do we have a tentative release date with time as requested above ?
  2) Can vendor turn off bookings for their listings . . . ( not by marking dates ) , but booking totally off

  3) And i want to book a single date and particular time , how to do that . . . now i its not working unless i select start and end date

  4) Bug – The inactive dates are greyed out on first page – but Add details page – start date , end date has got the dates enabled

  1. Yes, it should be released next week for sure (I’m already testing it).

  2. There’s no separate option to do this at the moment, but there’s an option to hide a listing, or if you set some offset/booking window that blocks the entire calendar.

  3. Sorry, as noted before there’s no time slots feature at the moment, it’ll be released next week. It supports day-based bookings in the current version.

  4. Thanks, will be fixed, in the current version the start/end dates will be denied anyway if you select the unavailable dates, so the front-end restriction is set for the date range field only.

  Yes, really sorry for the inconvenience – there were a few unexpected fixes, we’ll try to release it today, if not then tomorrow’s morning – you’ll get a notification in Dashboard/Updates once it’s available.

  Some bugs i came across

  1) After i select date and time , the To and From time comes alright on web browser on PC . . . but on mobile the to and from fields on booking details form is empty ( none showing what was preselected ) and cant even select anything , so can’t complete booking on Phone

  2) Although i selected available days as Mon – Fri , even Sat Sun can be selected

  @Ihor here is the video if it helps – works fine one normal mode holds the value on next screen , on mobile mode losses the vaue and not allowing to set even

  Thanks for reporting, I’ll check the first one and release a quick fix if there’s a bug. The second one will be fixed as soon as the next HivePress version is available (the Days field is implemented in HivePress itself).

  Hi @ihor. Great that the update is out. After updating the plugin I can’t locate where the changes are, can you guide me where to find them (the time slots)? There isn’t a description of what has been changed unfortunately. On our site, we have hidden the Booking Restrictions options (offset, window, maximum, and minimum), I am not sure if that has something to say. Thanks!

  And a related question: is it on the roadmap to make repeated events, for a given period of time? For example, every Tuesday from 2-4pm and Thursday from 2.30pm to 4.30pm, from August 22nd to September 15th for example? If that’s on the roadmap, do you have an eta? This would be great for marketplaces that run events and services that repeat.

  @thomasB please ‘tick’ the option under hivepress – settings – bookings
  Time Slots Enable time slots

  Then you should see all options
