Can I charge people to post requests? Thank you.

Sorry, there’s no such feature at the moment, but we’ll consider adding it. There are a few other ways to monetize requests, for example by charging vendors for viewing the request details (via Memberships).

+1 — I would also be very interested in adding the possibility to make requests a paid feature (e.g. for membership users). Would you have any capacities to make it a paid customization of the plugin? A quote would be fine! Thank you. 🙏

I planned to either charge them to post requests or let them post for free but charge them to see who made offers. Would the membership allow me to do the latter?

With Memberships, you can restrict access to the Request attributes so vendors will have to purchase a plan to view the request details (e.g. contact info). At the moment there’s no option to restrict the offers visibility, but it may be possible with a simple code snippet.

Sure, please submit the detailed requirements here and we’ll try to estimate the implementation https://hivepress.io/customization/

Is there detailed documentation on this somewhere?

This feature was added to the most recent update and we haven’t updated the docs yet, but it works in the same way as for listings/vendors – you can restrict access to specific request attributes, single request pages or all request pages. You can also restrict making offers in the same way as it currently works for restricting messages.
