Cant upload image attachment: “Images” field contains an invalid value. Why?
DestroyerZzz 11 months agoGetting this error while uploading images to the listings:
Only JPG, JPEG, PNG files are allowed.
But my files are PNG and JPG.
Here is archive with 2 images: https://drive.google.com/file/d/12Fxfp2Dzvq0RTw0rsCdKeSFT8aYHPwB0/viewNo any plugins installed. Only Clean HivePress and Clean WordPress.
DestroyerZzz 11 months agoMaybe its cause that pic from old iPhone 6?
Please use lowercase in file extension or try some special plugins which will do it
DestroyerZzz 11 months agoLooks like “field contains an invalid value.” happens only for ONE specific user! Thats a bug on his account. What i need to do? I have auto-posting enabled (without moderation)
DestroyerZzz 11 months agoAuto-Draft problem? Tried back-end adding for this vendor. Front-end issue still happen. Even if no images uploaded. Tried disable auto-posting (with moderation) – no result. Happens only on a specific vendor account
DestroyerZzz 11 months agoBug happened when user uploaded 17 images, but only 16 has “thumbnails”
I think that one lost image got stuck somewhere…..DestroyerZzz 11 months agoHow to “flush” user uploaded photos? But not published. If user uploads images, but not publishing listing. Photos still appears when he “Refreshes” pages. Or changes category. I think that is main problem. This “bug” stucked there
DestroyerZzz 11 months agoProblem occurs only on “Add listing” (submitting) page. User can edit back-end created listings from front-end. But cant add new listings. Even withou images.

Here is login and password of bugged userDestroyerZzz 11 months agoAll other user work normally. And can post listings
DestroyerZzz 11 months agoAdded new post (not listing) from back-end for this user , uploaded image from back-end media. No results… Still cant add listings on that user 🙁
DestroyerZzz 11 months agoI can give you SQL base and file dump if you need to inspect that bug
DestroyerZzz 11 months agoPlugins used: Imsanity (making images max width and height is 900px), Watermark (but its on manual mode, from WordPress media library)
DestroyerZzz 11 months agoBut i tnink problem is not by Imsanity plugin. Cause it occurs even if no photos uploaded
DestroyerZzz 11 months agoSo after catching that bug once – user completelly losses ability to sumbit new listing 🙁
DestroyerZzz 11 months agoI think there is some sort of “Ghost bugged image” stucked in that JS-uploader. And there is no button to “Delete All images” to clean the garbage bugged files and values.
Screenshot of my vision of that bug: https://imgur.com/a/lXgWOWuThis issue may occur if there is a listing auto-draft created via the WordPress back-end. The listings that are not submitted yet, but already have some details (e.g. uploaded images) are saved as auto-drafts by WordPress, but if someone abandons a listing the auto-draft will be deleted within 48 hours.
Please do not post the login credentials here, this forum is public so anyone can use these credentials.
DestroyerZzz 11 months agoSo what i need to do to avoid that in the future? Disabling auto-post will help? (Turn on moderation)? Thank you
DestroyerZzz 11 months agoHow to delete these auto draft and dont wait 48 hours? Maybe some plugin?
DestroyerZzz 11 months agoThe problem is that user did not abandon listing. This bug happened when user pressed Submit button. I think image uploaded wrong cause of bad internet / server. And instead of img data JS uploader got some “invalid value” that caused problem. This invalid value (data) still there. And cant be deleted from user’s account. I think its a problem with that image uploader
