Hi, @ihor!
When categories will be available in the requests addon? Also, it will be great, if you add categories for vendors!
Hi,
There’s no ETA for it yet, but it’s a high-priority feature and it will most likely be added to the next Requests update.

@Ihor, In addition to the above question will or can the following be integrated so:1. email notifications to vendors be category specific?. Where as a user/vendor they are able to select which category they wish to receive notification from. Than receiving notification for every request posted onsite?
2.As a vendor/user they have the option to select or subscribe to(paid) to as many category they wish to see posted request for and receive notifications from? Rather than having to receive notification for every single request posted on site? Please advise.
I plan to update Requests and Marketplace extensions next so this feature will most likely be implemented, I understand that separating requests into categories is important. Please try using a custom selectable attribute until this is implemented.

Maybe I’m doing something wrong, but after updating the request add-on I don’t see the category option. Please advise. Thanks!
Please check if there’s a new WordPress/Requests/Categories section, if you add categories there then they will appear in the search filters form, in the Requests page sidebar (in the same way as for listings).
Vishan 1 year, 8 months agoThat’s where I checked and didn’t see it listed and the current version is (1.1.0) while the update log shows 1.1.1. running on WP 5.8. Also, all license on local WP is not active for some reason becuase it’s asking to purchase again via HivePress extension section. Keep in mind I have a few local backups for local install so not sure if this is affecting anything.
Please advise.

Please ignore my last request. After activating ExpertHive license the update was made available. -
