Categories not sorting

Hi!

I have an issue with the category selector. I have added a few simple main categories, but when I try to filter the listings, it keep showing all categories instead of the one I chose. I have tried to look for an answer, but I can’t seem to find it.. its is the only thing that is not working in this otherwise VERY nice theme. 🙂

This issue seems to be related to WordPress.com hosting – the same one was reported and I checked it within the plugin code – there are some specific caching rules set by this hosting provider so it causes the filtering issue. I highly recommend trying another WordPress hosting provider like EasyWP, Cloudways, Kinsta or WPEngine, they are more suitable for directory websites (while WordPress.com is mostly used for news and blogs).

Hi ihor! I have bought hosting with another provider + changed domain. However, the filtering is still not working as it should. Do you have any advice? Or should I just try to re-install?

If this issue persists please send temporary WP access to support@hivepress.io (with details for reproducing it) and I’ll check it.
