Hi, I want my ListingHive users to add the currency that they prefer when posting a listing. I noticed that some of you managed to do it by adding a new format next to %value%. like this:
%listing.currency% %value%.Unfortunately, if I do this nothing happens, only the value is shown on the website. It is essential for me to let my users to pick the currency that they prefer. How can I solve this issue??

If you have the Marketplace extension please try using some multi-currency extension for WooCommerce. If the Price is implemented as a listing attribute then the only way is using multiple attributes, or using a separate attribute for choosing a currency symbol and using it in the Price display format.
francis.petrucci 11 months agoHi, thank you for your reply.
as the price is implemented as a listing attribute I want to add multiple currencies through the display format, but I don’t know why it doesn’t work.this is what I did:
1) I created the “Currency” attribute
2) I created multiple options for the Currency attribute ($,€ …)
3) Inside the Currency display format I put (%listing.currency%)then I did this:
1) inside the Price attribute (in the display format section) I put (%listing.currency% %value%)
2) then update everythingWhat happens is that inside the listings I’ll find this (if the price is 800 for instance):
%listing.currency% 800
and not €80 for instance.below I left some screenshots links that I took, I hope to solve this issue somehow

https://drive.google.com/file/d/1yV-0PN2ooufeYh4MEZP4OCt79zPVXL4d/view?usp=sharingPlease try to change attribute slug (there is maybe name conflict). Also please make sure that you set some currency for listing and save it
francis.petrucci 10 months, 3 weeks agoUnfortunately, attributes don’t have slugs, anyway, I don’t know maybe I will have to install a plugin or something, I don’t think there is any other solution…
Please click Screen Options at the top of the page while editing an attribute, if you check the Slug there then the Slug field should appear.
francis.petrucci 10 months, 2 weeks agoI changed the slug in (listing-currency), then I put as display format for the currency attribute “%listing.currency”, then I went to the Price display format and put %listing.currency%%value%
and the outcome is that when creating a listing you’ll be able to set the currency you prefer, but users won’t see any currency.Below I left some screenshots.

If you created 2 separate attributes (Price and Currency) and the currency one 100% has the “currency” slug then this display format for the Price attribute should work:
%listing.currency%%value%
The currency should be set unless the Price field is not a built-in one (e.g. if you use the Marketplace extension). If this issue persists please make the screenshots public, they are restricted.
francis.petrucci 10 months, 2 weeks agoHi ihor,
Yes, I created 2 separate attributes (Currency and Price) and the currency has the “currency” slug. As you said I used this display format for the Price attribute:
%listing.currency%%value%I set different currencies and the outcome is that the advertiser is able to set any currency he prefers, but that simply won’t be shown to the user. For instance, if the value is 800 the user would see:
%listing.currency%800here are some public screenshots:
