  Hi,

  Hope you’re doing well.

  I’m using your plugin to create a job board instead of a classified site.

  I’d like to convert vendor into companies and in the ad I’d like to have a link to all job offers posted by a company.

  I know there’s a user/vendor link that does that, but it doesn’t display the company’s name.

  So when companies sign up somehow the username field should say company name and then show up in the ad as a link to other job offers.

  Would this be possible or is it too complicated?

  Hi,

  Sure, I plan to make HivePress fully suitable for job listing sites so please let me know if you find any other issues regarding this. Currently, the vendor name is synced with the user first name, I’ll add an option that will allow selecting another source (for example the company name attribute) to the next version. It will be available this week.

  Well, quite frankly…

  …that’s incredibly good news!

  I like your plugin because it’s fast. Most of the job other boards plugins are terribly slow.

  Yeah, I probably have some ideas to make it better.

  One is that most job websites would show the job offers in a list instead of a grid.

  Another one is that the image of each listing would work better if it was small and aligned to the left. The image can be the company’s logo, for example.

  I’ll probably have more ideas as I go building my website. I’ll let you know.

  This option is available in the latest update in HivePress/Settings/Vendors/Display section, you can use any text attribute as a vendor name.

  So the company name appears. But, unfortunately, not as a clickable link pointing to all listings of this company.

  Please let me know how to reproduce this issue, if you link vendor name with a custom attribute (company), it should appear in the same way in the listing sidebar, and be clickable https://demo.hivepress.io/listing/stylish-remodeled-room/

  Username is clickable but company name is not.

  I tried different themes but the problem persists.

  TBH, I have no idea how to reproduce it.

  Maybe you added company as a listing, not vendor attribute? If you add it as a vendor attribute, and then select it as vendor display name in Settings/Vendors/Display section, once vendors are re-saved (or new vendors registered), there should be no usernames, only company names instead.
