  pickup : 1 January
  returned : 2 January

  if customer select this range, system will calculate 2 days. But for rental its still 1 day (24 hours system) .

  So how to make system calculate the date range -1 days

  If you count nights instead of whole days (e.g. if something is picked up and returned at least the next day) please disable daily bookings in HivePress/Settings/Bookings section. Then the date range from your example will be counted as 1 day.
