I need to create a template on my Website with ListingHive-Theme. When i create a template with the pagebuilder “Elementor” there is the error message „Sorry, the content area was not found in your page. You must call ‚the_content‘ function in the current template, in order of Elementor to work on this page“. See at point 4 on this article link: https://docs.elementor.com/article/56-content-area-not-found.
Can you help me to solve this issue?

This is strange, the ListingHive page template contains “the_content” function https://github.com/hivepress/listinghive/blob/master/page.php Please make sure that you’re not trying to edit the blog archives page or one of the WooCommerce pages as suggested in the article you linked.

I have the same problem! It’s on single page, not WC nor blog archive.

Please describe the steps to reproduce this issue, you just installed Elementor and tried to edit a page?

Yes. I’ve choose template, it worked and then… error: „Sorry, the content area was not found in your page. You must call ‚the_content‘ function in the current template, in order of Elementor to work on this page“. You can see it on my website – I’ve wrote to you on support@hivepress.io

This is strange, I tried adding a “test” page with Elementor and it works, but this issue persists for the “Home” page. Let me know if you find any additional details that may help to detect this issue, I see no difference between this page except for the title.

I have another problem case on the subject. I have installed the “Ele Custom Skin” in WordPress to create my own search design. If I want to create a new loop for it, I get the message “Sorry, the content area…”. See also the video link:

I hope a solution will be found quickly
