Filter Problem

    Hi,
I was just wondering if you could help me. I have created a searchable attribute however whenever I choose to filter it, nothing happens and all the posts stay in the same place i.e. I don’t think the filter is working correctly or I may have a setting which is impacting this. I’d greatly appreciate if you could help me resolve this one.
    Many thanks!

    Hi,

If possible send more details, what is the attribute type? This also may be a caching issue, you can try disabling all plugins and check if this issue remains.

    Hi ihor,

Many thanks for getting back to me so promptly. It is an “checkboxes” attribute, however, it seems to happen when I filter for a number in “Numbers Range” too.

I have deactivated all the plugins that are not HivePress apart from Akismet AntiSpam, Jetpack and Woocommerce, however, the problem still persists. It seems to be a bit of a mystery.

I really appreciate your help and will be hoping to donate some money once I have this all up and running.

Thanks again for creating this theme.

    Best regards,

    Seb

No worries, I’m glad to help. Please send a link to your site, or steps to reproduce this issue, so I’ll be able to check it.

Please make sure that edit/search types for these attributes are compatible, for example if you selected “checkboxes” search type, then edit type should be selectable (select, radio, or checkboxes).

    Hi ihor,

Unfortunately this didn’t work. I thought it may be a problem with my account so I reset the whole site, however, the problem persists and the filter doesn’t work. Is there any other thing that you think may be causing this? Or is there maybe a way for me to remove the filer all together (this wouldn’t be ideal but would rather remove it than have it on there if it wasn’t working).

    Many thanks,

    Seb

I couldn’t reproduce this issue locally, but you can send temporary WP access via email to support@hivepress.io and I’ll check how this attribute set up on back-end, if there’s a bug it will be fixed.

I have provided access to the site.

Please let me know how you get on.

    Kind regards,

    Seb
