Geolocation Bug Issue
I enabled the geolocation feature on my listing website, and often (3/10 times) when I search for a location, the google maps box does not load, but then if I refresh the page a couple of times it loads again.
Here I left a public screenshot of the issue:
This is. how it should always look like instead:
I don’t know if this is due to a cache problem or something, I hope there is a way to solve this issue.

This issue may occur if the script differing is enabled, when the map is not loaded please check the browser JS console, there should be a detailed error message.
I opened JS console as you told me to and this is the error message:
“google.maps.event.addDomListener() is deprecated, use the standard addEventListener() method instead: https://developer.mozilla.org/docs/Web/API/EventTarget/addEventListener
The feature will continue to work and there is no plan to decommission it.”
Unfortunately, I am not a programming expert so I don’t really have a clue about what this means…Is there anything I can do to solve the bug issue?
This seems like a deprecation notice, but not the error that may block maps. If possible send temporary WP access and I’ll check this issue for you.
Does u fix it francis.petrucci
My issue is the same with different error in console. Pleaase if fixed place the solution 🙂Mon 1 month, 2 weeks ago
same here. Sometimes map loads sometimes it doesn’t. Also doing refreshing. For backend edit listing or adding listing in frontend the name of the places in the combobox appears and sometimes it doesn’t. I have to reload the page in Chrome.
Just as a note, in Incognito mode or other Chrome non-wordpress user, it works perfectly…aspirina 1 month, 2 weeks ago
Hello Mon, After 5 long days with this issue i recomend u to remove delay JS from ur cache plugin. Also remove inline css and combine css and issue will be fixed.ihor 1 month, 2 weeks ago developer
Yes, it’s most probably related to the caching plugins deferring/minifying JS scripts. Please let me know if you found any more details about the issue (e.g. the plugin name or settings), we will try to resolve this in any case.
