Hello, Ihor my search location function isn’t working. I can’t add the location to listings and when I search for a location it brings all my listings. The API key has been inserted correctly and is working. But it seems to be loading to show locations in my country Kenya. https://goei.buzz

mutange34 3 years, 1 month agoPlus should there be an attribute for location?
I noticed that scripts are minified on your site, please try disabling this and check if this issue remains. Also, you can try disabling third-party plugins.
There shouldn’t be a location attribute, it’s built into forms by default if you set an API key.
mutange34 3 years, 1 month agoStill not working, I have deactivated all my plugins apart from the hive press one nothing seems to work
The first error disappeared, there’s a different one now, related to the API key:
Geocoding Service: You must enable Billing on the Google Cloud Project at https://console.cloud.google.com/project/_/billing/enable Learn more at https://developers.google.com/maps/gmp-get-started For more information on authentication and Google Maps JavaScript API services please see: https://developers.google.com/maps/documentation/javascript/get-api-key
As far as I know, Google requires you to provide billing details (e.g. card details) for Google Maps API, although there’s a 1-year trial period at no cost.
mutange34 3 years, 1 month agoThank you it worked. And how does one change the listing archives on the listings page to something else?
mutange34 3 years, 1 month agoThe title; listing archives on the listings page
mutange34 3 years, 1 month agoPlus can one add banners or statements in the listings page?
1. Please let me know what title you mean, there should be no title https://demo.hivepress.io/?post_type=hp_listing Maybe there’s some SEO plugin that sets it?
2. You can add custom widgets to the listings sidebar in Appearance/Widgets section. Adding custom content to other sections currently requires code customizations.

shadiHD 3 years, 1 month agoI can not figure out how to use the geolocation tool.
mutange34 3 years, 1 month agoYou need to install it, follow the video https://hivepress.io/docs/extensions/geolocation/. Then input the correct google API key from your google console. Make sure you set up the billing for you google console to prevent any issues.
shadiHD 3 years, 1 month agoYes I just did that. Now should it be under widgets? So confused why it wont work now.
mutange34 3 years, 1 month agoClick on Hivepress-then settings. Under settings click integration then input the API key
shadiHD 3 years, 1 month agoyea i’ve done that already :/ did I need to verify my domain through google maybe?
shadiHD 3 years, 1 month agoFigured it out thank you sir
shadiHD 3 years, 1 month agoHow do i create a location for my listings?
shadiHD 3 years, 1 month agoAlso is it possible for me not to approve every single listing?
Please check the docs https://hivepress.io/docs/getting-started/installation/ before posting on the forum.
1. If you set the Google Maps API key, there should be a new “Location” field for each listing, so you can simply edit any listing and set location.
2. There’s an “Approve listings manually” option in HivePress/Settings/Listings section, you can un-check it.
