how can the administrator give a membership manually to a user? I tried clicking on add new, searching for the user, selecting the plan and renaming the name of the plan..
When I try to log in with that user it doesn’t work, it only works if this user buys the plan from the website (I created a free plan without linking to woocommerce).

Also: how can I see from the membership page the list of the user? I have to click the memberships one by one, is it possible to show also the user? Is it possible to extract this list and or upload a list of user and memberships?

Thanks for reporting this, it seems to be a bug. I tested this locally and plan restrictions are not copied to a membership if it’s added manually via back-end.

Before it’s fixed, you can use a workaround – add WooCommerce order manually (select user and product), then mark it as “completed” – this will create a new membership automatically. This is also the easiest way to import memberships (WooCommerce has a custom import plugin for orders).

Thhanks it works like this. It would be great to have a tool to have a complete ovierview of the user and their memberships in the membership tab… now the name is just the name of the plan and you have to click in order to know who it is.

The “User” column will be added to the next version, I’ll also add more details (e.g. expiration date).
