Google Analytics and third party tracking

    Hi,

We need to implement MonsterInsights on to our site which already places the Google Analytics script on to each page. If we take out the GA account Id from HivePress. but leave the View Id enabled will we still get all the capabilities? Or does HivePress require the GA account to properly send events to Google?

Would really hate to disable Monster Insights because of some incompatability.

    thanks,

Sure, if you use another plugin to add the tracking code please leave the Tracking ID field empty in HivePress/Settings/Integrations section, there should be no conflicts.

    Thanks Ihor —

But if I remove the Google tracking account and leave the View Id in, will vendors still have full access to all their listing stats?

Yes, the view ID is used on the back-end to send requests for fetching stats, while a third-party plugin uses the tracking ID to load the Google Analytics tag on the front-end.
