Header image

Hello Igor. Please tell me, when I change the header image, the picture is displayed differently for each user (someone does not have the picture cropped)
As I understand it, it all depends on the resolution of the erkan. How to make sure that the picture is not cropped and is the same for everyone, regardless of the screen resolution? thanks

    I will explain. I have a picture of 1920×430.

My screen resolution is 1366×768 and the picture is displayed as needed. A friend has a resolution of 1280×768 and on the site he cuts the picture very much.

Please let me know what images you mean, listing images or vendor images? They are cropped to different formats, you can check the default settings here https://github.com/hivepress/hivepress/blob/master/includes/configs/image-sizes.php

Header backgrounds like here https://demo.hivepress.io/listing-category/houses/ don’t have any specific size, their size depends on the screen width and content height (to cover the background area), there is no way to prevent this.

But in the mobile version, you can somehow set the size of the image title?

If you mean the header background image, its size always depends on the header content size. The image is resized to cover the content area, so if it becomes higher the image becomes wider so it’s height is enough to cover the added content height.

we just drew a picture and in the picture in the middle the text is written. and this text and the picture itself does not fit in the mobile version. on this I asked a question, how can I adapt so that in the mobile version you can see the whole picture without cutting it off automatically.

I understand, but these images are used as backgrounds in ListingHive, not primary images with a text. Please consider adding text to the header itself, then it’ll always be displayed correctly on different screens.

That’s exactly what I did. I added text to the title, but when the text is a little more than intended, the picture starts to grow, picture by text, and not all of it becomes visible, it is cut off.

Yes, this is how it works, the content you add will always stay there (e.g. text), but the background image will be resized automatically to cover the header area, you can check how it works here https://demo.hivepress.io/listing-category/houses/
