Hello Support Team, my congratulations on every update you make every day.
I have previously made a consultation on the subject that I describe below and although I think it is not solved, I explain what I think would work well for everyone.
1- A user makes a reservation for a service published by an expert.
2- The Expert accepts the reservation to be executed on a specific day.
3- THERE SHOULD BE AN OPTION IN HIVEPRESS/SETTING THAT CAN BE DIALED THE NUMBER OF DAYS PRIOR TO THE RESERVATION THAT IS NOT ALLOWED TO CANCEL IT. Example (2 days before it is not allowed to cancel the reservation)
4- THE USER WHEN HE ENTERS THE RESERVATION IN THOSE 2 DAYS ALREADY NEXT TO THE RESERVATION SHOULD NOT SEE THE “CANCEL RESERVATION” BUTTON, so he cannot cancel.
Because it does not make sense as it is now established, that when a reservation is already running or even when an expert is executing the tasks of an order because it is the date to do so, the user is allowed to cancel the reservation. For example, tomorrow I book to rent a room and tomorrow when I am in the room sleeping, I give you to cancel your reservation. That’s not logical.

Thanks for your feedback, we’ll try to improve the booking cancellation process. The booking cancellation itself (before the booking start date) can’t be disabled, even top booking platforms allow it (just to allow users to indicate that they will not show up the dates can be unblocked), but the refund depends on the booking terms (usually the refunds are limited, e.g. if you cancel later than 2 days before the booking start date).
Ihor, I don’t mean refunds. What I mean is that if a client bookes on Monday to have a photo shoot, for example from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., it does not make sense that the client at 12:00 a.m. on the same Monday can go to the website and click on cancel the reservation, since it is already running.

Yes, I totally agree, the Cancel Booking option should disappear after the booking started – this will be fixed. I meant cancellation before the booking starts, there should be some way for users to indicate that they will not show up (to un-block the time slots or dates), but the refund policy is up to the vendor or the marketplace owner.
