Hide category where listing can be added for specific user roles

    Hello!

    I would like to find out if there is a snippet that can be used to hide specific category IDs from being able to receive new listings on the front end. It can be based only on this principle or depending on user role om the website (eg. only admin can add in that category).

    For example, contributor user role can add listings only in categories 1, 2, 3. And author user role can add in categories 4, 5, 6.

    It can be also that based on a vendor attribute this permissions to category adding can take place.

    It is possible, but unfortunately there is no simple code snippet for this, this requires filtering the listing category query on the Select Category page.
