  hi, great theme!

  when a jobseeker clicks ‘apply now’ the current form that comes up only has 1 field for ‘new message’
  can i change this so that there are custom questions for selected companies and to allow jobseekers to upload a pdf file with their cv instead of typing a message?

  This is a built-in message form so adding custom fields would require code customizations, but you can enable file attachments in HivePress/Settings/Messages section (and restrict the file types) so users will be able to attach their CVs.

  I have basic coding experience, can I go in and change the code myself once I’ve purchased the theme?

  – I would like to make it so that employers can add custom questions to their jobs to filter out candidates
  (I’m happy to go in an change the code myself for them)

  Sure, if you purchase a theme license you can customize it in any way for your or your client’s website. Adding custom user-defined fields to the message form is possible, but may require the advanced customizations.
