  Hello,

  Is there a way to limit the size/dimensions of the images uploaded by the vendors?
  Or at least to include some note to recommend the preferred dimensions.

  Yes, you can limit this on the WordPress level https://www.cloudways.com/blog/increase-media-file-maximum-upload-size-in-wordpress/ and/or change the image sizes in Settings/Media section.

  Thank you very much Serhii. The code works great except for one tiny detail:
  the total number of images allowed is always +1 the number specified in the code. Which leads to this mis-match between the message the web delivers and the actual number of images the user can upload.

  In this case I set the maximum to 3 images. I was able to upload 4, but when trying to upload the 5th, a message promps saying the maximum number of images is 3. No big deal, at least for me, but…

  Thanks for reporting this issue, it occurs because images are uploaded asynchronously – we’ll try to fix this in the next HivePress version.
