  Is there a way users can leave comments on the listings page (not reviews) so they can ask the vendor questions? I’ll prefer this to private message, as this could take users away from the platform.

  There’s no such feature, but it’s actually a great idea for an extension (for any HivePress theme), thanks! I can help you to enable comments as a workaround (the same as for blog posts) on listing pages, if it’s ok please send temporary WP access via email.
