  How do I remove the location bar from the top of the listing page?

  There are two solutions:
  1) You can just disable the Geolocation extension
  2) Or if you need just to hide field then please try this CSS snippet .hp-form--listing-search .hp-field--location {display:none}

  I want to keep the geolocation extension

  I am still receiving complaints due so technical issues with it, when people use it to search listings are not ranked from closest to furthest

  if someone searches a town not all listings in that town show

  Where would I put this code?

  You can use this plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/code-snippets/ to keep PHP/CSS snippets or add CSS snippets directly to the Appearance/Customize/Additional CSS field.
