Messaging shows up as comment on WP Dashboard and Comment Widget

    How come when one sends a Message to another member the WP COMMENT DASHBOARD AND WIDGET indicates the message as a comment made.

    Kept seeing approved comments on my dashboard yet comments are disabled and when i clicked to see the comments there where none. I INSERTED the WP WIDGET on the side bar and noticed comments on it. When i click on a comment link on the widget it redirects to the members page.

    Is this how the plugin is meant to work or is it a bug..

    Thanks for reporting this, will be fixed in the next version. HivePress stores messages as comments (these are basically hidden replies to listings), I’ll try to hide them in the comments widget and will check the dashboard visibility.
