  Hello

  vendors have set up their names on the account. I have inserted a profile name

  when messages are sent the user can see their name not profile name or title on the vendor page. How do I fix this?

  Vendor profile name is synced with the user name by default, please adjust this in HivePress/Settings/Vendors section and re-save the user profile.

  Only option I can see says display name.

  has 2 options
  -Display name
  -User name

  currently selected display name ?????

  The vendor name can be synced with the user name or with a custom attribute. If you want to change the user name source please change this in HivePress/Settings/Users section, e.g. you can display the first name, last name, full name or username.

  How does a user change their user name?

  In the settings part for a vendor their is no username field

  In WordPress usernames are unique and can not be changed (even via the back-end in WordPress/Users section, these are the core WP settings). You can link the user display name to a custom attribute (or first name) to allow users to change their display name.
