Question re purchase funnel for ListingHive paid listings

    Hi there, further to our discussion here I viewed the discussion you linked to : but have not found a solution that works. The 3rd of the code snippets you suggested does bring up the ‘select package’ page first, but from there goes straight to payment and checkout, without bringing up the fields to add listing details.

    Appreciate your continued help.

    Also… packages are not category-dependent.

    Yes, it redirects users to checkout, but once some package is purchased then the Add Listing process will not be blocked with the Select Package page (it appears only if there’s no package or the limit is exceeded). Unfortunately there’s no other solution for changing the Select Package page order at the moment.

    Sorry Ihor I don’t understand.
    After I select the package I am taken to checkout, and there is no place before or after checkout to add listing details. I set a high package limit so that should not be an issue.

    Since I’m using a child theme I think the option I’d prefer is to change the ‘add listing’ button link. I will then send it to a page that provides pricing info and a ‘start now’ link which sends the customer through the normal process. Could you point me to where I can edit the button link?

    Thank you very much for your time on this.

    After you complete the checkout, please check if the order is marked as processing or completed (via the back-end, usually one of these statuses is set automatically if there’s a successful payment via PayPal or another online payment gateway). Then if you click Add Listing again, the Select Package page should be skipped.

    Not sure how I would explain that process to customers. I am going to remove the snippet and go back to the original process.

    I would still like to know how to edit or remove the add listing button. Can you tell me which theme file it is in?

    Sure, you can override the listing/submit/listing-submit-link.php file via a child theme or simply hide it with CSS:

    .header-navbar .hp-menu__item--listing-submit{
    	display: none;
