I purchased your theme yesterday and unfortunately it doesn’t do what I require it to do. Please process a refund for me. what I was after is a site that works the same as fiverr. Your site lets a freelancer list their service but it doesn’t let an employer post a job. Please process the refund.

    Hi,

Sorry for the confusion, this feature wasn’t in the theme description and on the demo site, please always ask pre-purchase questions if you have any doubts. TaskHive allows you to build a marketplace of fixed-price services exactly like Fiverr (e.g. “I’ll make a logo for $20”), but the “Post a Request” feature is missing at the moment.

TaskHive is in the active development stage and I can add the user requests feature in just 2-3 days, please let me know if this works for you, or I should proceed with the refund.

Hi Ian, i have just asked the same pre-sales question
Have you found a theme that does do this yet?
    cheers

Is the request system going to allow the freelancers registered on the site to bid for the employer requests? If it is then I will wait if it isn’t then please process the refund.

ckey11y – There are loads of themes out there depending on what your are looking for. This one is the best that I have seen, with the stripe integration, I have seen a few that do exactly what I want but have fairly complicated payment systems.

What I am looking for is basically a complete copy of Fiverr, where employers can post requests and freelancers on the site can then bid for the project, exactly like on Fiverr. They can also list their services, which is what the theme is fantastic for.

Cheers Ian, I’ve looked at a few myself – I’m just looking for a simple micro jobs site like airtasker but more simple.
Can seem to find the right one

ian which theme are you getting a refund on?

I was asking for taskhive but if they can add the required post request and bidding then I will stay with this one.

@iainsanderson If you mean the ability to choose a freelancer and pay the bid amount automatically this would require more than a few days, I meant just the ability to post a request where freelancers can reply and offer their listed services.

The primary feature of Fiverr is selling fixed-price services (microjobs), this is what differs it from UpWork (where you can only post custom requests) or other platforms like TaskRabbit (which also asks you to post a custom request). Sorry if this was confusing, by “…like Fiverr” I meant a marketplace of microjobs like “I’ll make a logo for $50”, “I’ll write an article for $25” etc, and the demo site works exactly like this.

Please let me know if you plan to continue using TaskHive (I saw you posted a new topic about commissions), if not I’ll process the refund immediately.

@cke11y Thanks, I’ll consider developing an Airtasker-like theme, I already got a few requests for a theme similar to TaskRabbit (it seems to have the same features as Airtasker).

If yo can sort the custom post and bidding then I am more than happy to stay with you. I like your system and it works very well.

How long would it take to complete?

    ihordeveloper

Please let me know if you need the ability to pay the bid directly, I meant just letting users post requests (similar to posts) and freelancers will be able to reply (like “I’m ready to do it, check my listings”) or add a listing with a custom price just for this user (or change the price for existing listing).

This is a kind of workaround, and it would take a week to develop. Implementing direct payments for custom requests would mean a different kind of marketplace, and probably a different theme (themes like these ask users to post a request on the front page instead of listing services that you can pay for without a request).

Ideally, I would like the employer to post a custom listing with a budget. Freelancers can then bid on it and the employer can select which bid/freelancer they want to use. The employer pays once they accept and then after the freelancer finishes the employer finishes the project by clicking Finish, and then the money is transferred into the freelancers account, like your site at the moment. They can then request a payout. If this is something that you can then fantastic, Im on board.

I’ve just got another request for this feature via email and started working on it. Please let me know if there’s some specific deadline for your project.
