After a user does a review, they do get a little tiny feedback message that tells them their review has been submitted, but it is awkward and confusing to the user that the review dialogue is still open waiting for “another review” to be filled out. I would think that after you click submit review, you would get a feedback message alone, with no review dialogue box.
Unless there is a setting to change that or fix that?
Thanks for reporting this, we’ll improve the UX with every update. Currently it displays the success message and clears the form fields, and even if someone tries to re-fill the form and submit it there will be a “You’ve already submitted a review” error message.
Unless you have it set to allow more than one review, which we do.
I wouldn’t mind preventing duplicate reviews on the same day or week or something. But, we don’t want to prevent multiple reviews forever.
I understand, but it seems to be a minor UX issue – the success message should be enough (at least for now) to let user know that the review is submitted. I highly recommend enabling reCaptcha for this form if you allow multiple reviews, the captcha will be also reset on form submission,.
