We are trying to get search alerts working but we can’t find out how to control the following:
1) We can’t seem to get the search alert button to display when someone is browsing a category, it only shows after a search. So if someone is on a bunch of listings from a specific category there’s no way for them to set a search alert unless the know enough to search first.
2) There is no way to build a template of what each listing would look like within the email. We would like to format the listing and include some content and fields. Is there a hook somewhere where this can be provided? How would I get access to the fields? If this is possible can I get an example that would include an example of using specific listing fields?
3) Where can we control the frequency of these search alerts going out?
