  Hello,

  I just installed my jobhive and my site is still pretty in a “vanilla” state but the search is not working as intended.

  Whenever a keyword matches, the SERP doesn’t show any result. Like nothing happend. (while searching for ‘all categories’

  Whenever the search doesn’t return any result, it does show the proper page accusing:

  “Nothing found
  Sorry, but nothing matched your search terms. Please try again with some different keywords.”

  What’s wrong with my search?

  I found the issue:

  Listings Page -> Display categories

  If it’s active, only categories is shown and the SERP gets broken.

  Thanks for posting the solution! Yes, if this option is checked then users have to select a category before any job search results are displayed, so the categories page is shown instead.
