  Hello together,

  could you please help us with the following:
  We want our vendors to upload both, physical as well as digital products.

  Ich found this code (https://hivepress.io/support/topic/making-marketplace-file-attachment-optional-on-taskhive/).
  I copied the code to the functions.php (is that correct?).
  I also changed the “file” key to “attachments” key – it doesn’t work.

  The HivePress > Settings > Listings > Attachments section is ticked, but now attachments have to be added to every product.

  Thanks for your help in advance. We have already purchased the marketplace plugin.

  Please try to put this code snippet with plugin Code Snippets https://wordpress.org/plugins/code-snippets/ instead of function.php file. Please do not make direct changes in core files like function.php

  Hi yevhen,

  thanks for your reply,
  the pulgin recommended is not available anymore: it says “This plugin has been closed as of May 4, 2022 and is not available for download. This closure is temporary, pending a full review.”

  Can you recommend an other plugin meanwhile?

  Hi yevhen, thanks for your answer, but it doesn’t work. I also changed the “file” to “attachments” as recommended in the other topic.

  Please try using this snippet instead https://gist.github.com/hivepress/016a42ac96c26e70fa68431b2579e0a0 I tested it locally and it seems to be ok. Also please make sure that the snippet is added correctly (I’m not fully familiar with this new code snippets plugin, I hope this one will become available soon https://wordpress.org/plugins/code-snippets/).
