New eta?
Vishan 1 year, 11 months agoWe all made last minute additions to the Request add-on, which he willing added in. That said, we should give him some time , better to have a well tested and coded addon -takes time.
There’s an unexpected update required for HivePress itself, and since it’s being updated I’ll fix a few bugs reported in the previous one, it shouldn’t take more than 2 days.
Gazlog 1 year, 11 months agoSorry to be a bug. Is there a new eta on the update.
ThanksIt should be already available (released it on Monday), please check it in Dashboard/Updates section. Now it’s possible to make offers private, send a notification about new requests, add custom attributes and search filters for requests, etc.
max 1 year, 11 months agoHi ihor,
This is great news. The update is not displayed in the backend unfortunately. Please make sure that you set the license key in HivePress/Settings/Integrations/HivePress Store section, I’ve just updated Requests on the demo site and it seems to be ok.
max 1 year, 11 months agoThat was my mistake. Now, it is working 🙂
Great update. Thank you SO muchmax 1 year, 11 months agoHi,
I hoped that with the recent update there would be an option to hide offers on requests to the public.
There is an option “Allow bidding on requests” which I unchecked. However submitted offers are still visable to the public. I am not using the marketplace plugin.
Am I doing something wrong?Best
Maxmax 1 year, 11 months agoSorry, got it now. Totally overlooked the “display” dropdown 😀
emilgadzhiyev 1 year, 11 months agoI don’t see the update of the Requests plugin in the dashboard 🙁
goodkarma 1 year, 11 months agoIhor – I also don’t see any update to the requests extension in my dashboard, either. (although I did get the theme from you directly – prior the extensions plugin was included as well – it was included when I installed the theme much later – and the license key is applied in settings. 🙂
Martin Chalwe 1 year, 11 months agoHi Ihor,
Is it possible to have an option of not allowing users to copy and paste contents from the description attribute. There are some contents that l want exclusively on my site.ThomasB 1 year, 11 months agoThanks Ihor! It all works. Looking forward to trying it out!
@emilgadzhiyev Please make sure that you set the license key in HivePress/Settings/Integrations/HivePress Store section, the update will appear in Dashboard/Updates.
@goodkarma Please check if it’s ok now, the update should appear in Dashboard/Updates.
@Martin You can try using a plugin like this one https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-content-copy-protector/ Please create a new topic if you have any other questions, this one is related to the Requests extension update.techguyconnect@gmail.com 1 year, 1 month ago@ihor can you give me code snipit that will allow me to attach files to request?
techguyconnect@gmail.com 1 year, 1 month ago@ihor can you give me code snipit that will allow me to attach files to request? i need my customers to be able to submit job request with file attachments
Please create a new Attachment attribute in Requests/Attributes section and mark it as Editable, then this field will appear in the Request form. You can also link it to some display areas so vendors will be able to download the attached file.
