  Hello ,

  After the update when i click add new listing shoud send me to submit-listing/category inside of that send me to submit-listing/details

  Choosing categories have been moved to submit-listing/details in the latest HivePress version. Please try using this PHP snippet if you want to enable the old Select Category page https://gist.github.com/hivepress/0cad94fb539ccb0605f8aa6212d4d60f

  Is there no way to have a selection box for category and then the subcategories underneath in other drop down box.

  We have built the websites around the initial set up, add code I am not comfortable with and it has made the new drop box huge with options?

  Its work , on half way …
  Still the menu appear in add listing.
  If i can suggest , i belive adding category in 1st way and sub – category in the new way is the best metod

  Thanks, we’ll try to improve the UX. Adding 2 drop-downs may not resolve this because there may be 2+ levels of categories, we’ll check how top classifieds websites implement this. You can show the old Select Category page using the snippet suggested above, and remove the “categories” field by filtering the hivepress/v1/forms/listing_submit form.
