UX problem – Searching keywords and buttons

I’ve been deciding for a long time whether to write about it, but I think rather yes than not.

After searching the keywords, the phrase remains in the search bar. And now, when I want to delete theses keywords and I want to only set filter (because nothing matches f.e.), It can happen that I will just delete the keyphrase by mark and delete or press x, than just set filter and press filterbutton. But Keyphrase is still there. Only one way to delete keyphrase is to press search button for empty phrase. Its quite confusing you dont know what to press. Its not disaster but the best solution would be if someone delete keyphrase and then press filter, delete keyphrase automatically – without need to press search. Or just delete filter button 😉

Thanks for your feedback, I’ll try to find the best way to resolve this. Now the search form has a higher priority than the filter form, so the filter form just adds extra filters to the main search query, but it doesn’t reset it.
