What does relevance mean? Could we automatically sort by distance?

    Hi, what does relevance mean?
    I search for listings in my directory site using my location, but the sorting is showing me the further item first. Could we automatically sort results by distance from the current location?

    Hi,

    Relevance is the default WordPress search order, it depends on the search keywords and the listing date. Unfortunately there’s no option to sort listings by distance, because it depends on user input and thus can’t be stored for each listing (like attributes). I agree that this would be a nice feature and will check if it’s possible to implement it.
