WooCommerce and RentalHive

Hi, I have noticed that after activating WooCommerce, the default ‘per night’ option changes to ‘per day’, and this changes how calculations are done on the checkout page. For example, a booking of 03/08/2022 to 04/08/2022 is being calculated as two days rather than one night. Ideally, accommodation bookings should be per night rather than per day. Is there a way it can be changed to reflect the RentalHive option?

Please make sure that Daily bookings are disabled in HivePress/Settings/Bookings section (then nights will be counted instead of days). The price format may change if there’s a custom Price attribute in Listings/Attributes (the Marketplace extension overrides it with its built-in Price field), please try changing this “/ day” format using Loco Translate.

Hi Ihor, noticed once a booking has been confirmed both Woocommerce and Rentalhive are sending confirmation messages to the guests – duplicate messages. Is there a way only one can be sending the confirmation message? Maybe it’s because Woocommerce is the one facilitating the payment process and RentalHive has the marketplace.

Yes, WooCommerce has its own email notifications for payments, please try disabling or customizing their order status emails if required

Thanks. Is it possible to disable the one for rentalhive especially the confirmation message as the one for Woocommerce has the payment receipt included which is much important for the client to have

Yes, you can enable/disable WooCommerce emails (via the suggestions linked above) or disable any HivePress email by creating a custom one with empty content in HivePress/Emails section. If some email is empty and assigned to some notification event it will not be sent.
